I had my LightSpeed Lift system within less than a week, set it up in about an hour, and ran on it that night – pain-free. I’ve been running on it consistently for more than a month, slowly building time and speed. With the use of the Lift, I am once again able to reach a base pace that I hadn’t been able to touch for years. No longer do I feel I am tripping over my own left foot. This has carried over into the long walks on the ground I do outside daily and my yoga practice. I finally can move without holding and forcing.
I know it will be a slow process to unwind, as it has taken several years to get to where I am now, but I am hopeful that with the Lift, I will be able to train my body to once again return to on-ground running, trails and a return to racing. For now, I will continue to use the device to get back to comfortable paces and to continue to allow the system to support me, giving me the confidence I need. As I age, I think this will be incredibly useful to remain active and positive in my quest for “always better.”

Some background: I am almost 71 and grew up with a brother who was/is VERY active and athletic ~ I was/am not. While employed I would nudge myself to walk to work several times a week which checked the box of exercise for me, but when I retired….and aged….I needed more. A knee and ankle injury got me on a LightSpeed Lift and now I walk on my favorite treadmill twice a week hooked up to the body support system. Its good for my heart, has strengthened my legs, and I just feel better when I’m done. I SO appreciate any way exercise is easier, and now it is!

I love the product. I have used LightSpeed in a number of settings for injury, recovery, technique improvement and performance. I was first exposed to the product because of injury. The system allowed my coach to correct my running stride as I was training for a full marathon. Further exposure has shown me what a powerful tool this is for recovery and performance as well.
Recently I suffered a non-running related injury at the worst possible time, I had an important event and I was behind on my training. Luckily, I have a LightSpeed at home set up on our Peleton Treadmill.
